The harp lessons are for our middle daughter, Pixie. She plays harp and piano. This picture is from Good Friday when she played in the lobby of the Oklahoma Heart Hospital.
Pixie is 10 1/2 and began playing the harp at 8 and the piano at 9. She'll be playing at an Oklahoma Centennial Volunteer event tomorrow, where one of our former governors is the keynote speaker. She's very excited about it.

This picture is just the sweetest thing ever. I know you must be SO proud of her. Are harp lessons more expensive than other instrumental lessons? Do you guys own your own harp? If not, how does she practice?
Most musical lessons (around here) are $10 - $15/ea. Harp is $15 a week, and we rent that harp from her teacher. This year, we will buy her a harp of her own.
We have the harp you see in the picture at home, and we take it to her performances. Her teacher has a harp like this at her home, so we don't trek the harp to lessons and back every week.
Would you mind emailing me her teacher's name and number? I'm wanting to take up piano again after years of not playing. I live in the OKC area.
Thank you!
