Tassimo

I'm thinking of naming our next kid Tassimo. I think it works well for a boy or a girl. And, no, I don't have any announcements. Yet.

Tassimo is the name of the Braun single serve coffee maker. It easily and quickly makes coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cappuccino, latte, and espresso. It does NOT make my bed. I gave it PLENTY of time and zippo, nada, zilch.

As the only coffee drinker in our family, I usually consider it too much trouble to fire up the Cuisinart Grind 'n' Brew (which sounds just a little naughty, doesn't it?), for, while the coffee is excellent, the cleanup is time intensive and, frankly, I really don't need to drink 50 oz. of freshly ground Starbucks Sumatra Extra Bold. Man! I use a lot of, you know, commas, don't I?

Anyway, back to my new best friend, Tassimo. The coffee is yum, as are the other drinks. We know because we made all of them one after the other this evening. The house smells less like guinea pig beauty parlor (shampooed the cavies today - don't envy me) and more like Starbucks-on-a-budget. Never fear, your favorite purveyors of overpriced liquid energy is in no danger of being run out of business. I will still require the occasional (read: PMS-induced) Venti double shot heavy cream carmel macchiato. What this does mean is that I will be able to enjoy a nice cup of freshly-made Gevalia coffee in the morning at the touch of a button. Enough to make my tongue reach up and slap my brains right out!

Until my paper boy also starts delivering Starbucks, this will SO definitely do!
