::Editor's Note: Evidently, I've gone a little overboard here. Note to self, "check the other entries before participating in a blog 'event'." I'll leave all of my everyday things, but please promise me you'll only read one::
Everyday Mommy encouraged her readers to blog about what Everyday Things we love.
Oh, there are so many!
Campfires - oooh, the smell...the warmth...the incredible conversations that just happen around a campfire.
Decent-Hair Days - see profile photo.
Yellow Roses - of which there are currently 12 fresh ones on my bedside table, courtesy of Mr. Clem and being that today's our elevendy-fifth anniversary.
Kids in Footy-Pajamas - even better if they went to bed with wet hair! This morning, my house is inhabited by floofy-headed Whoville-ians (Dr. Seuss Reference).
Coffee
My Mama - who is hurting so much since my sweet stepdad graduated.
Harp Music - as played by 9-year-old Pixie, who has a gift. I can say that because I did not give her the gift, nor can I take any credit for her ability aside from giving her a lift to her lessons.
Off-Key-Enthusiasm - as displayed by TeenQueen when she's wearing her iPod and doing her household chores. As a hearing-impaird person with cerebral palsy, the obstacles in her life are greater than any I can identify with, yet this little ray of sunshine straight from the hand of God will BELT, "Lord I lift your name on hiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh! Lord, I love to sing your PRAAAAAAisesssss!", as she does dishes and sweeps the floor. Please don't miss that this sweet baby was given a much different prognosis than the reality she currently lives. EVERYDAY MIRACLE.
Autistic Observations - WonderBoy sees things in such a unique way, and only because of God's faithfulness he is able to communicate his observations to us. Yesterday, he was watching the chicken nuggets turn in the microwave and said it looked like a "dial-ay". Say what? "a DIAL-AY! Where people dance."
A ballet! The nuggets reminded him of a ballet! My boy who was never supposed to speak, dress himself or use a toilet is standing on a chair in the kitchen in motorcycle underwear he put on by himself and remarking on the similarities between the nuggets and a ballet. Poetry!

Very sweet. What a fun way to take this on. Welcome to the crowd (kind of a small one but is lovely to have only a few to read through and really enjoy.:)) I used to work Special Ed and my favorite kids to work with were autistic. Their take on the world is often so very different and loely. :)
That is beautiful!! I love hearing about your children and how precious they sound!! You sound like a wonderful loving mom! Thanks for sharing your everyday moments!
