...THE HAPPY DANCE!!
I found my watch. Yes that watch!
Blow out your candles, put away your prayer shawls. The Watch Watch is over, let the feasting begin!
What? Oh. You want to know where I found it? Does that really matter? I mean, really, the point is that what once was lost, now is found.
Okay. Fine.

There. I said it. Happy now?
Y'all know I cleaned out the couches, and that I copped to owning a couple more than my share of couches. The two in the living room yielded their share of treasures. The one in the playroom was mostly full of dry cereal, popcorn and pine shavings (a story for another post, I assure you).
I now confess, for all both of you to read, and to my great and everlasting shame, that I didn't take apart the antique camelback peach brocade sofa in my bedroom.
Nobody sits there, fercryinoutloud! Well, except for me. But I only sit on one end, by the lamp, when I read my Bible, EVERY SINGLE MORNING THAT THE SUN COMES UP.
And it was there, neglected, forgotten and alone (except for two hair clippies - you know what snobs they can be) my most beautiful watch has lain for weeks. But no more. It has been restored to its rightful place on my wrist. And tonight, it will be placed with loving care in the jewelry box, to the eternal torment of the painted hoop earrings.

Breathing a sigh of relief for you.

Yay! It's like when you find money in your pocket, sort of.
Can't wait for the Panera Party. I can't come on Tues or Wed mornings, but most every other time is available!

p.s. My computer buttons shorten the name of your blog to "What's Up, B*tt" (only without the asterisk).

Did I mention I love your new look? Your comment to Melanie about Newman cracked me up.
I came by to tell you that you have discovered my secret.
Alas, Newman and I go way back.
;>)
The watch! Yippee for you!
