Not the actual get-out-the-Pledge-Grab-Its kind, mind you. As I am allergic to housework, that will have to wait until the health department makes good on it's monthly threats.
I just feel like a few updates are in order, and since I lost the loooooooooong post I started about my tattoo, it's all I got right now folks.
Let's start with Courtenay. Remember this story? Well, SHE WON! If you voted or forwarded or helped in any way, thanks so very very much.
Baby Redneck has resigned herself to the daily donning of underwear. Can I get an Amen?
Teen Queen made it home from her choir tour. Sans any extra pieces of mind, I'll have you know. That's okay, though. We're pretty crazy about her just the way she is.
The A/C is fixed, and we narrowly escaped being ripped off and talked into a whole new system when all that was needed was some little dooflotchy with widgets on one side. It goes on the outside of the boxy-thing on the side of the house and I don't know what it does or what happened to the one that was on there, but for $140 we're back in climate-controlled comfort.
I am blessed by your thoughtful repsonses to my previous post. It means so much to be able to put my jumbled-up thoughts down and be able to examine them. And when each of you stops by to shed a little of your considerable light on my situation, things become much clearer. Please know how much I appreciate your loving words.
And this concludes today's edition of ButtercUpdates (I just made that up, can you tell?)

Amen! on the drawers. The rest of the clothes will come later. ;D
Glad those other things worked out well, especially the AC thing. I hate to sweat. HATE it with a power and a passion. It ain't purty when a fat girl sweats.
Nuff said?
Love and hugs,
Diane
First, Diane just made me laugh!! :)
Now, Amen! Glad she's back safe and sound (and of what mind she started with), Yeah no sweat! and Keep looking up. Make sure if you are looking down, it is to see the Word.
I am stressing due to a wedding in two weeks, at my house that is not ready, I have PMS and I am not in the Word nor exercising and that is a dangerous combination.
Think I need to go now and finish dinner, complete my bookshelf declutter, sew the curtains, finish the skirt, get my 17 year old to Karate, go buy the door for the garage (that needs to be finished by this weekend)... I did walk today and really need to get in the Word more than anything. Bye!!!
PS: I'm grateful that I can do all the above mentioned things and that in the end they are really not that important. Just a blip and hopefully some great memories!!!
Also allergic to housework...as are my husband and children, as it turns out...
One thing I love about this whole blogging deal is the opportunity to think out loud (via keyboard of course) and the give and take of other's insight. Just goes to show how God can use even the world wide web to accomplish His purposes!
Be blessed,
Lisa
Love the cUpdate! Phew on the underwearing and return of TQ. Had similar experience last week with a widgeted dooflotchy (actually it was more of a wonketed flibbledorf) which the very smart electrician fixed for $200 instead of replacing for over $500. I love him.
Now I want to hear about your tat!!
