I'd love to stay and chat, but I have to squeeze in make-up piano and harp lessons, a vision therapy appointment and the acquisition of more pine bedding for the cavies.
I also have to pack for an early plane to a homeschool conference and, hopefully, a mirl with Jules. So I'll be at the beauty shop getting my roots done and on the treadmill losing 50 pounds so that people I've never met and may never see again will think I'm the height of homeschooling fabulosity and glamour. It's all about the image, people. Substance, schmubstance. As a cum laud graduate of the School of Fernando (It's better to look good than to feel good, Dahling!), I'm going to spend the day making sure I look good, and the hour on the plane from here to there reviewing my notes. An hour's enough, right?
I'll be flying on the company jet, so I know I won't be bothered with one of those pesky in-flight movies or snacks. Lots of time to concentrate.
